We are in possession of all the original books in the original holder including the stamped service book, showing annual VW main dealer services with all supporting invoices which show that the DSG oil was changed at 42,000 miles. The car also comes with the original bill of sale showing an initial purchase price of £29,047 in 2014. The car has just had it's annual service at Caffyns VW and was MOT'd at the same time so is ready to go.
Mechanical Condition
The car has no mechanical issues which is to be expected of a well looked after car. The DSG gearbox changes gear cleanly and the car pulls nice and smoothly throughout the rev range. This is a fine handling car, with light and direct steering and well damped suspension – there are no nasty knocks or noises. The car is a real all-rounder providing driving enjoyment whatever the occasion.
Exterior Condition
The paintwork is in great condition with a highly reflective surface that is contrasted with the diamond cut alloy wheels. The car is free from ‘supermarket’ dings and has no scrapes on the bumper corners. The wheels are in good condition showing only a few marks and they are shod with a combination of Michelin and Dunlop tyres. Close inspection will reveal some minor marks commensurate with age but overall, this is a smart looking car that anyone would be proud to own.
Interior Condition
The interior is in great condition with the classic tartan trim cloth seats wearing extremely well. All electrics work without exception and all warning lights go out as they should. The interior fittings are free from squeaks and rattles. Two particularly useful options are the keyless entry and adaptive cruise control which help enhance an already pleasant driving experience.
