History and Documentation
Reg no:  SV52VOY
Owners: 4
Mileage: 33000 - warranted
HPI: Clear
MOT – Feb 2021
Keys: 2

The car was initially delivered to Mr C. in Aberdeen in November 2002. He kept the car for 5.5 years during which time it was serviced at Porsche OPC in Aberdeen with a major service being carried out at 15000 miles when 4 years old, including plugs.  The car was then sold by Aberdeen OPC to Mr N. also in Aberdeen who also had the car serviced at the same dealer at 20800 miles – it is worth noting that it came with a Porsche Approved Warranty.

The car then came south in 2016 and was sold by Mortimers Prestige in West Sussex to a Mr L. from Banbury upon when a major service was carried out at 26200 miles (including plugs again).   Mr L. then had the car serviced at his local Porsche specialist, JGC at 28900 miles.  The last owner, Mr K. bought the car in early 2018 when the car was last serviced at 29700 miles.   Mr K. (at the eternally young age of 86!) part exchanged his car to us to upgrade to a Boxster S and what a lovely gentleman he was as well as being one of the most competent drivers we’ve had the pleasure of passengering with.

We are in possession of a folder with number of invoices and old MOTs, the Approved Used Warranty booklet and a genuine replacement Service Book – we assume the original was lost, hence the first entry being at 15000 miles, but given the second owner was granted an Approved Warranty from Porsche, it seems fair to imagine that Aberdeen OPC had serviced the car correctly to that point.

During the cars' tenure with us, we have replaced the rear discs and pads with genuine items, replaced both catalytic convertors and an O2 sensor.  In addition to a recent MOT with no advisories, we have serviced the car replacing the oil, oil filter, air filter and spark plugs.

Mechanical Condition
Unsurprisingly considering the mileage, the car is in excellent mechanical condition.  The car starts up without hesitation and there are no nasty rattles or leaks coming from the engine bay.  Moving off, the clutch is light and the gearbox exceptionally precise making for a lovely driving experience.  The car pulls strongly and cleanly through the gears and you are reminded that you are driving a very low mileage car due to the tautness of the chassis and lack of rattles.

Exterior Condition
The car presents extremely well, with the relatively unusual Midnight Blue paint holding a deep lustre and flicking from blue to purple to black, depending on the light.  The complementary navy blue hood is in good condition with no tears or holes and importantly is water tight.  The wheels are in un-scuffed condition with some minor age-related marks and shod in the correct N rated Continenal Sport Contact tyres on all corners which all have 5mm+ of tread.  Close inspection will naturally highlight a few blemishes on the paintwork but overall this is a very smart example that draws admiration wherever it goes.

Interior Condition
The light grey leather seats are in fine condition with no discernible wear as you’d expect with the mileage.  Even the navy blue Porsche overmats are in very good condition with no holes or stains.  The hood goes up and down without any issue and all electrics work without exception.   It is an exceptionally pleasant environment to be in with all controls feeling tight.

Summary
There is a lot to like about this car.  Sometimes overlooked for the ‘S’ model, the 2.7 possesses a delicacy that the more brutish ‘S’ does not, especially in the steering and gearchange which we prefer on the 2.7.   We feel that this car represents good value being a very low mileage, manual example and are sure that the new owners will enjoy the experience as much as we have.   If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us by phone or email.
