Overview
An exceptionally original, low mileage example of the E46 BMW 318Ci in M-Sport trim, fitted with the 2.0 4-cylinder engine mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox. This example came particularly well equipped from the factory, including the following:

Delivered on 13/5/05 via Dick Lovett in Bristol, the cars first owner Mrs M. kept it serviced at the supplying dealer whereupon it was sold in the summer of 2009. Mr C. then bought the car from Church’s Performance in West Sussex and kept the car serviced in the BMW dealer network, using Vines and Chandlers in Sussex. Rather than stick with the BMW condition-based servicing, Mr. C elected to get the oil changed every 10,000 miles with the last change being carried out at 65,000 miles. The car is now showing 73,000 miles having averaged just over 5000 miles per year. We have the original book pack in our possession.
Mechanical
The car starts on the first turn of the key and settles to an even and quiet idle. Moving off the gearbox is smooth and the car feels very taught, no doubt due to its’ low mileage. The brakes are strong and the car has recently been treated to a full set of Michelin Pilot Sport 4 tyres, which are exceptionally good (and not cheap!).
Exterior
The Silver Grey paintwork is 100% original with no evidence of SMART or larger repairs. The paint has a deep lustre and really comes to life in the sun. Unusually, there is not a single dent on the car, even on the flanks. As the car is original, there is some stone chipping to the front end. The wheels are in acceptable condition as is, but a particularly fastidious owner might wish to have them refurbished. Overall, this is a particularly smart example that anyone would be proud to own.
Interior
The black leather is hardwearing and as such is virtually unmarked. The rear seats look as if they have never been sat in. All dash lights go out as they should and all electrics work. There is some minor scuffing to the door handle and the original BMW overmat shows some wear on the drivers side, but in summary this is a lovely environment to be in, be it for short or long journeys.
Summary
We feel that this example will compare very well to others on the market and is great value for someone wanting a smart looking car with low running costs. A high specification, nice colour, low owners and mileage ensures all the ingredients are there for a great ownership experience.
