Alfa Romeo Spider Veloce S4, finished in the classic combination of Alfa Red with tan half leather & half Alcantara interior. Originally a US market car, it was converted to RHD by Lombardi early on in it's life and has spent a significant amount of time in the UK. Equipped with PAS, electric windows and electric mirrors and comes with the rare hardtop and is quite unusual in that it has an automatic gearbox.
We purchased this car last summer with a valid MOT and was driven back to base to have some recommissioning done but since then it has languished at the back of the garage whilst other things have taken priority. Space is now becoming an issue and it is unlikely we will get around to getting this car to retail standard any time soon so it is offered here as a light recommissioning project.
The car starts with a jump pack and the engine sounds healthy. The autobox selects gears fine and the car can be moved around the yard under it's own steam but cannot be driven on the road as the MOT has expired and it also needs the brakes looking at (they work, just very wooden). We also believe the rear suspension bushes will need replacing and the soft-top will also need replacing. No doubt there will be other things which need attending to as well. The car will need to be trailered away with all 4 wheels off the road.
Please be under no illusion that this is a weekend's work to get it on the road, but with some sustained effort it is feasible to be using it this summer. We are happy to send more photos or give more information but of course the best way to satisfy yourself of what needs doing is to view in person - any inspection is welcomed. S4's are becoming highly sought after and are rare in any guise, let alone a RHD Auto. The best examples are in the mid-teens so this is sensibly priced at less than half that amount.
